Grazing & Water Management Field Tour - Timber Ridge by Foothills Forage & Grazing Association

Join FFGA for a Grazing & Water Management Field Tour at Timber Ridge.


Glen & Kelly Hall will lead this tour and walk us through their watering systems on Timber Ridge & some of their grazing management strategies.
Cows and Fish will talk about Riparian Health & Water Stewardship and talk about the projects they are involved in on Timber Ridge.
Alberta Conservation Association will discuss their Co-tenancy Agreement on Timber Ridge and how it works. Glen & Kelly will give us their perspectives on this partnership.

This tour is entirely outdoors. Dress appropriately for the conditions and wear sturdy footwear as there may be some walking through the foothills.

Take Highway 533 west of Nanton, turn south on Range Road 295 (Basin Road), turn east on Township Road 151A and look for high pole gate with a Y lazy T on top which will be on the north side.
